Apple, Raisin and Walnut Muffins

Apple, Raisin and Walnut Muffins Dehydrator Recipes

  • 90g Gluten free ground oats
  • 150g Mixed raw nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. Celtic sea salt
  • 4 Organic apples (sweeter variety) 2 chopped, 2 blended
  • 240ml Liquid sweetener (maple syrup or raw agave)
  • 3 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp. Alcohol-free natural vanilla extract
  • 200g Raisins
  • 150g Chopped walnuts
  • 90g Gluten-free oats, whole



This recipe is delicious, quick to make and suitable for vegans.


  1. Use a food processor to blitz the nuts until they form a powder. Add the cinnamon and salt then continue to blitz. Once combined, transfer the mixture to a bowl
  2. Next, add the coconut oil, sweetener and vanilla extract to the food processor and blend. Add the blended apples and combine
  3. Transfer the apple mixture into the bowl with the powdered nuts and cinnamon then add the raisins, walnuts, chopped apples and the whole oats and using your hands, knead into a dough. Wrap the dough in clingfilm and refrigerate for an hour or so
  4. Use an ice cream scoop to measure out the mixture then arrange the muffins on the dehydrator trays (do not use telfex sheets). Leave to cook at 115 ⁰C for 8-12 hours
