Ingredients

  • 1 Carrot
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp melted Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Method

Carrots are another vegetable that make fantastic healthy crisps and with your dehydrator they are so easy to make.

METHOD

  1. Take your washed carrots and cut into thin slices
  2. Add the carrots to a bowl and combine with the salt, coconut oil and cinnamon
  3. Arrange the carrots on the dehydrator trays and leave to dry for between 6 and 10 hours at 52⁰C. The carrots are ready when they have a crispy texture
  4. Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container
