What to do with Lamb Leftovers – Shepherd’s Pie Lamb
  • COOK TIME: 40 minutes
  • PREP TIME: 10 minutes
  • DIFFICULTY: Easy
  • SERVES: 4

Ingredients

  • Left over lamb
  • 1 x Onion
  • 1 x Clove of garlic
  • 1 x tsp tomato puree
  • 1 x 100ml stock
  • Mashed Potato (Amount judged depending on how much lamb you have left over)

Method

Don’t despair if you have leftover lamb! In fact, we often buy a little more than needed so that we can turn it into other meals.

One of our favourites is this recipe for the British classic, Shepherd’s Pie – it couldn’t be easier to prepare, but still delivers a delicious meal for you to enjoy!

Method

  1. Dice up any leftover lamb and finely chop the onion and clove of garlic.
  2. Gently fry the onion and garlic together so that they soften, then add the lamb, tomato puree and stock. Cook out slowly for around 20 minutes and spoon into a baking dish.
  3. Top with the mashed potato and bake in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.

This dish is perfect for your left over Sous Vide Spring Lamb!
